A picture is worth 1000 survey measurements

It may not be quite how the saying goes, however with our drone we are able to capture up-to-date aerial imagery for your project.  We can produce stand-alone maps or integrate the images into the background of a conventional survey to add an infinite amount of detail that would otherwise not be measured.  Using our GNSS unit, we measure precise ground control points to georeference and control the aerial images to ensure accuracy.

The aerial imagery can also be processed into highly accurate Digital Terrain Models (DTM’s).  This technique allows us to map inaccessible areas or places where access is restricted due to safety concerns.

Digital Terrain Models from drone imagery are a great option to efficiently and accurately cover larger open areas, making them an ideal choice for volumetric calculations of stockpiles or excavations.

Tree canopy, vegetation and ground coverage of the site determine the accuracy of the DTM – our team can explore if this surveying technique is suitable for your project.
