Site Plans:
The municipality or Regional District often requires a Site Plan before they issue a building permit. This Site Plan typically shows your parcel, the proposed new construction and the location of any existing improvements or infrastructure such as buildings, driveways, wells or septic fields, major trees and water courses. The Site Plan specifies how all the features relate to the property lines and zoning setbacks.
Construction Layout:
We have extensive experience in construction layout. Beginning with a meticulous review of the design drawings, we confirm the design dimensions and then check for compliance with the setbacks from the local zoning bylaws. It is critical to properly locate the building within the property lines and building envelope.
In the field we coordinate with your construction team and precisely set all the layout points, gridlines, benchmarks and offset points needed to complete the project.
Building Location Certificate:
When required, we complete Building Location Certificates to certify the location of the improvements relative to the property lines of the parcel.
